Shubunkins exhibit widee varieties of calico patterns including blue, black, orange, red and pure white patches with random black spots being spread throughout. At a maximum lenght of 14", it is easy to accidentally overcrowd these fish. One should stock at a rate of one inch of fish for every 10 gallons of water, taking into account the maximum length of the fish being stocked.
